How Word Cloud Plus works.
Everything you need to go from raw text to a polished, exportable word cloud.
Getting started
Step 1
Create a project
From Projects, choose New project, give it a name, and paste or type the text you want to analyse. Word Cloud Plus extracts and ranks words and phrases automatically.
Step 2
Shape the cloud
Use the toolbar above the cloud to change colors, font, dimensions, how many terms are shown, and zoom. Drag words in rearrange mode to fine-tune the layout.
Step 3
Refine the text
The Stop Words tab removes words you do not want counted (one per line). Replace lets you merge spellings or synonyms. Coding (Premium) lets you tag phrases with colored codes for analysis.
Step 4
Export and share
Download your cloud as PNG, JPG, or SVG from the download button in the toolbar. Free downloads include a watermark; Premium and one-off purchases remove it.

- Cloud
The live word cloud plus the styling toolbar: colors, font, dimensions, term count, title, rearrange, multiselect, zoom, and download.
- Summary
Statistics about your text and the ranked list of extracted words and phrases.
- Text
Your source text. Click a phrase in coded view to explore it, or switch to edit mode to change the text.
- Stop Words
Words excluded from the cloud, one per line. A default list loads for the project's language and you can add your own.
- Replace
Find-and-replace pairs applied before ranking - useful for merging plurals, spellings, or synonyms.
- Coding
Premium: tag phrases with colored codes and see them highlighted in the text and the cloud.
- Settings
Project name, description, and CloudSync options for the project.
Plans and watermarks
The free plan includes unlimited projects and all editing features; exports carry a small watermark. Premium ($7/month after a 30-day free trial) removes the watermark, allows commercial use, and adds CloudSync backup through your own Google Drive. If you only need one clean export, a one-off watermark removal for a single project is available from the download panel.
Troubleshooting
A word I expected is missing from the cloud
Check the Stop Words tab first - common words are excluded by default. Also check the term count in the toolbar; only the top-ranked terms are displayed.
My projects are missing on another computer
Projects are stored in your browser. CloudSync (Premium) syncs them through your own Google Drive so they follow you between computers and browsers.
My export has a watermark
Free downloads include a watermark. Upgrade to Premium, or buy a one-off removal for a single project from the download panel.
Sign-in loops or fails
Make sure your browser allows cookies for this site and try again in a normal (non-private) window. If it persists, email us with the time it happened.
